About the Position

We’re seeking a talented UX Engineer who is passionate about crafting seamless user experiences and is excited to take ownership of our design system from an engineering perspective. In addition to working closely with engineering, you’ll be collaborating closely with our Growth Product Manager to drive product-led growth by optimizing and experimenting across the entire funnel.

Responsibilities

Assist the UX/UI team with filling gaps in the design system leveraging UX best practices (ex: errors or focus states).

Work closely with the UX/UI design team to translate our design system from Figma into functional, scalable, and maintainable Vue components within Storybook.

Develop and maintain documentation for our design system, ensuring it is up-to-date and accessible to both designers and developers.

Own the engineering side of our design system, ensuring it meets our high standards for usability, accessibility, and performance across all platforms.

Work closely with our Growth Product Manager, focusing on rapid experimentation and optimization of the product funnel to drive user growth and engagement.

Collaborate on the design and execution of experiments, analyzing results, and iterating to optimize the experience.

Advocate for UX best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues, ensuring a high-quality user experience.

Qualifications

Proven experience in UX Engineering or Front-End Development, with a strong portfolio that includes work with design systems and evidence of impactful UX improvements.

Expertise in Vue.js or comparable component-based frameworks (React, Angular, etc.), with a willingness to learn Vue if not already proficient.

Experience with Typescript

Experience with Storybook or similar.

Experience with Ruby on Rails is highly valued but not mandatory.

Experience with Figma and familiarity with implementing designs into code with precision.

Experience with A/B testing and web analytics tools, with a data-driven approach to design and optimization.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and meet their needs.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.

Pay & Benefits

Job Type: Full-Time

Base Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 per year
