This role is remote, based out of Taipei, Taiwan but we are also open to locations within North America. 

Tenstorrent is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SW functional safety manager to join
our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical role in driving the strategy, development
and success of our SW functional safety activities for various component and stacks. This role
will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product to ensure 
the delivery of world-class solution to meet automotive functional safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

Lead the effort to drive the ISO26262 and ASPICE compliance for the full software development product lifecycle 
Drive the Software Functional Safety product roadmap discussions and certification strategiesBuild the ground-up Software product safety plan as well as drive adoption and execution Guide the Software engineering team through requirements, architecture, design, unit test, 
integration test and verification to meet functional safety requirements
Manage the work of third party assessors and customers with respect to 
Software functional safety
Ensure clear communication and alignment with internal stakeholders on program goals 
and progress

Experience & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related
field.
Experience driving the Software component of ISO26262 certification, preferably for ADAS or 
autonomous driving applications
Experience in functional safety software development and ASPICE Strong experience of AI/ML toolchain development and achieving ISO26262 compliance 
is a strongly preferred 
Knowledge about static analysis and code coverage tools Background with C, C++ and Python programing languages Familiarity with automotive SW stack is preferred ISO, IEC, IEEE functional safety standards involvement is preferred
